Nadine's Goodbye

Dear AVN Members,

After many years on the AVN committee fulfilling roles as President and Treasurer it comes with sadness to forward my resignation and say goodbye to you all.

I personally feel it is the right time for me to leave as I feel guided to do so. I have had a wonderful time being part of a magnificent changing team of enthusiastic, empathic, motivated, inspiring and loving people. The committee have been everything to me in holding the torch of the AVN for the past year, I was blessed with their kindness and overwhelming support and for that I am eternally grateful.

The AVN has always had a special place in my heart and I have been privileged to be part of it. It has been truly life changing and I will treasure my time here always. I want to thank each and every member and committee member for all your amazing support not only to the AVN but to myself also.

The strength in our community is to be commended and held precious. These past years has shown the power of the people and the importance of communities coming together to support each other. We must continue to do so now more than ever as we move into a new era of being. Keep looking after one another and always stand up for your beliefs. I have every faith that we will see a better world come out of the tyranny we have and still experience, just hold strong and always Be Brave!

Goodbyes and hellos

Everything old is new again…

Except for me!

Thank you to Nadine for taking on the role of President for the last 10 months. It gave me a bit of a breather and allowed our membership to meet and learn about how incredible and talented our community really is.

I have stepped back into the role of President after a very short retirement (no rest for the wicked, they say) on an ad-hoc basis while the AVN searches for a new leader to take over and really allow me get some much-needed R & R. Applications are open to any financial members of the AVN!

Elections will be held at our AGM in July so I hope to be stepping down for REAL at that time and leaving the AVN in the capable hands of its new leader who will join the ranks of some of the most dedicated activists in Australia.

Until then, you will be seeing plenty of me in the VaxXed Bus with our amazing team of Jazzy Melhop, singer, political candidate and all-around great person; Nina Atlagic, AVN supporter for over 25 years and Dave our incredible bus driver and juggler of many jobs.

I will also be keeping up with Under the Wire, my weekly show on all things vaccination, health and freedom-related. The exciting news on that front is that I’ve found a new, censorship-free live-streaming platform! Under the Wire will be streamed here and my new Clouthub page is @MyInformedChoice. I’ll still be on Facebook until deleted, but it is so good to not have to worry about whether I’ll be able to go live or not! VaxXed Bus videos will also stream to Clouthub so keep your eyes on that page and set up your notifications so you won’t miss anything.

Tasmania and Western Victoria are next so we look forward to seeing you all on the road to share your stories, your support and your hugs which are our currency whilst travelling!
